A History Of Yam Kem
We started in 1911 in Stoke Newington London. The same year in Japan Yamaha began. In fact Yamaha were taught by Kemble to build Pianos. Kemble moved to Bletchley in Buckinghamshire in the 60s and carried on building Pianos to 2017. Now they are built in Cambridge, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Yorkshire and Lancashire as well as Japan, Austria, Germany, Taiwan and Indonesia. With refined methods both hand built and machine built the Kemble Piano is back still with Yamaha Backing. As it should be and will always be.
